IPConnect® Services

Established as a branded service for ISPs—with its first circuit connecting Greenland and the U.S. Internet backbone in 1999—IPConnect® now takes advantage of IP-native platforms developed by best-in-class technology developers and manufacturers.

For Virtual Network Operators, two platforms are available:

• Thick-route applications, using TDMA-based technology
• Thin-route applications, using DOCSIS-based technology

For End-Users with their own networks, options include:

• Shared bandwidth
• Dedicated bandwidth
• Point-to-Point circuits

These platforms are managed at our Woodbine Earth Station in Maryland, with new capabilities being built-out at our Brewster Earth Station in Washington.
