How We Do It
To provide reliable and secure communications worldwide, AGS utilizes the industry’s leading fleet of geosynchronous communications satellites, maintains a robust terrestrial network of teleports, service platforms, fiber connections and engineering expertise.
As the government arm of SES AMERICOM, AGS leverages 36 satellites, of which:
- 34 are operated by wholly owned subsidiaries
- 16 are operated by Americom
- Coverage includes 24 orbital positions
- Launch 3+ geosynchronous spacecraft per year on average
