Instructions for Applicants

General Information
A complete SES AMERICOM Associate Program application consists of the following: 

1. Completed application including essays
2. Professional Resume
3. One letter of recommendation
4. Three references
5. A portfolio or other supporting materials (optional)  

All of this information may be emailed to:ap@ses-americom.com. In the case of the recommendation letter and perhaps the portfolio, hard copies are acceptable.

Essays
Your thoughts regarding your career to date, professional goals and what you feel you can contribute to SES AMERICOM during your internship are of particular interest to us in the selection process. Please consider your answers to these questions thoughtfully and incorporate the elements above in your answers.

Resume
A professional resume should include educational background, significant work experience, current position, volunteer activities and other relevant items.

References
One of your three references should have professional competence in your area of expertise or field of interest, another should have knowledge of your major community or civil activities; and the last one should have experience working with you in a business/professional setting.

Letter of Recommendation
Have one letter of recommendation written and returned to you in a sealed envelope and signed across the back flap. Please forward to:

Portfolio/ Supporting Materials
Applicants are invited to submit a portfolio or other supporting materials. Portfolios should represent a sample of the scope of your work. Please be selective and send only the most significant and relevant material. Applicants may also send materials, such as articles or books they have written, articles about them or other related materials.
A portfolio or other supporting material is enclosed with this application.
I will submit a portfolio or supporting materials under separate cover.
